The Orion is specifically designed for servicing small to mediumsized aircraft up to, and including, B767/A330. With a maximum working height of 13.7m/45 feet, the Orion can also deice high- T-tail aircraft such as TU-134 or MD-80/90’s. It is an effective deicer for smaller airport operations and an excellent way to add flexibility to existing deicing operations at larger airports.

The Orion is integrated onto a chassis from an international prominent telescopic loader manufacturer for reliable performance and easy access to spare parts and worldwide service networks. The unit is very compact and highly maneuverable in crowded ramp environments. The crab steering and tight turning radius allows the spray operator to cover a horizontal width of more than 19 feet, reducing the amount of repositioning necessary during de-icing.

Choose from one- or two-man operation. With the one-man operation options, the entire unit can be operated – and driven – by the operator in the basket, using joystick controls. The basket is also rated for 200 kg/450 lbs and has ample capacity for two persons.
